yeah, that internal furnace is handy - for the other person. makes life hellish sometimes, though. mr. welki loves mine - best (and weirdest) thing is that i can turn it on and off at will

been a bad week for losses. sammysmom, winston, and jenna lost another one of hers, five weeks after the last one. (the first was sort of expected, a 13 year old bulldog is ancient, but this latest loss was a five year old. she took him in knowing he had all sorts of stuff going on, but wasn't expecting him to decline so fast)

they were supposed to bring him in for an mri on friday, and determine a course of treatment, but he wasn't doing well thursday night and died with jenna and her crew late, late at night. no time to bring him to the vet. sometimes, i think, they take care of you by making the decisions for you.
