go to settings - privacy/security - login/passwords -uncheck autofill - uncheck 'ask to save new logins and passwords'

For me, it's under "tools" and "settings", but I didn't find anything specific to this. Auto-fill referred to addresses, names, and the like.

It's an autofill function. I use Chrome and cant find a way to filter what it autofills. Handy for filling out name and address on forms, aggravating here.

For anyone who is A still here or B interested. Yesterday I was admitted to hospital. Had a total right hip replacement and 24 hours later back at home. Feeling a little bit nervous as I get to know my new body part but looking forward to a new lease of life. (Announcement over).
