the bug ;) was a lifelong dream to see one, finally sort of did last year on a two week long family road trip across the mid-west (from my locale in WA state). Saw some flashing at the end of a long day driving through some back road through fields. Stopped on the shoulder to watch a few minutes.

I still wonder why Jamie (DR God) and his friends who stared this puzzle with him, chose the dictionary they did? They were very young at the time and so many have wanted to include misspellings etc. I don't know. Jamie's godmother, who was a founder member here might have known, but sadly she dies a few years ago.
