I joined a hiking club in October and started leading hikes in January. What a nice group of people.

right before Helene, we rode bikes on the Virginia Creeper Trail and it goes through Damascus, which the AT comes into as well. That area got slammed and washed out all the bridges on the Creeper Trail in one section but I guess the AT is okay now.

You have seen me, but it's been a while. My husband became ill starting about 5 years ago. Three years ago, he was worse, and he died a year and a half ago. I was his caregiver, and doing Babble was a great daily relief, but I didn't have the energy to chat. I've always enjoyed the chat, though. I'm doing pretty well with energy level right now. And can't believe I'm 86!!!!
