we have decided that we will hire a professional cleaning company to clean the house once we have moved out. It is not too expensive and will save all of us a lot of energy and time and pain. Same with the floor, are going to have it put it, not doing it ourselves

as for the garden here, our neighbour has a motor whatsitcalled, we will ask him to raze it all down so all Caya has to do is put it into the bin. It is crazy, the rental agency wants it all so clean and tidy, while everything here will be demolished within a year.

we have a bear that has been making the rounds this summer. I always talk loud when I take winston out at night. he got in our trash can in the garage (with open door) a couple of weeks ago and trash was strewn all through the front yard. took about 10 min for us to scare him away enough to pick it up. he waited across the street and came back to see what was left.

I ran into one while fishing in Algonquin several years ago, but there was little danger. You can literally smell a bear five minutes before you see it, and if you stuble across a solitary cub just go the other way--quickly.
