yes same here. If you refresh Babble in the expert, the number of words is adapted but the word list stays at one word. I have sent Lickety a screenshot, he is gonna look into it when he has time.

This is so strange. In Babble Expert when you send words to Babble they do actually go to Babble and are added to the puzzle - but Babble Expert is not showing the most up to date version. If I view Babble on another browser like Chrome it shows all the words.

yeah Babble Expert is over 16 years old now and with the switch of playbabble to https I think it's finally got to a point where it doesn't want to play ball. For me to get it working just right now I think I'm going to have to completely shift it up to a newer operating system and newer development environment. AI is helping heaps but there is a bit of a setup. Sorry Babble Expert users!

for those who love Babble Expert - thank you! And if you want to still use it - you can do this hack. Still send words from Babble Expert to Babble but have another browser open with Babble - you'll see the words have been sent - just Babble Expert seems to only want to show 1 word

Ok. Full confession here. I have no idea what Babble expert is, or how to get it. I play babble on an iPad. I open Safari & log into www.playbabble.com. Then I open another window in Safari & log into r46.me which brings up Lickety’s clues page. I manually transfer words from Babble into what I call Lickety’s list. Can someone explain what Expert is, & let me know if I have been doing this all wrong for the past 15 plus years?

pretty sure Expert doesn't work on Macs, so have never used it. Saw a few funny times when the whole list got transferred to chat instead of the word list.

What's nice about Babble expert is that you have a screen to the left with the clues and to the right you have the babble grid. You click and open a word add box. When you enter words in the add box it sends it to both babble and lickety's list automatically. So you don't have to worry about entering the words twice and you are able to see what words are missing more easily. I've been using Babel expert and refreshing the babble screen. Periodically. That updates the word count and the stats below the grid. It never generates the word list on Babble that normally appears to the right of the grid.
