No rules about cluing. It used to be that you didn't give any more than the first two letters (like Lickety) in your clues. Giving 4 letters of an 8 letter word is just about spelling the word out instead of cluing.

A lot of players turn off the chat due to excessive cluing here.. sometimes it is a bit much for a lot of players. People don't normally complain, they just lurk and close off the chat. I was just pointing out that giving away that much of the word is a bit much. I learned how to clue from Haz and try to do it in a way that doesn't give things away.
