3:30 in the morning i heard the Very Angry Cats... i put Opie and Fritz in the bathroom while i tried to look and see if there was a stray cat again or what. i couldn't see anything. it smelled like skunk outside, but not so strongly that it seemed like a skunk had been RIGHT THERE and got scared by them and sprayed right there. i left them in the bathroom just to be on the safe side. sigh.

I just had to leave the one room I was working on today for my own (phantom) sanity. painted the walls like 2 mos ago and taped them to paint the trim, and the tape pulled the wall paint off, so then I was touching all that up and there's a 2" section between 2 closets that pulled off almost the entire paint, and of course I got touch-up paint on the trim.
