Hey everybody. I was interested to read the earlier discussion about weight loss. I was diagnosed with diabetes in August. Had Ozempic prescribed for me. I began the ozempic program in late September & to date have lost 42 lbs. I’ve always been a yo-yo weight loser & gainer so I’m not throwing out my ‘fat’ clothes just yet, but I am enjoying wearing my new ‘skinny’ wardrobe.

I have gained about 25+ since turning 50. would love to lose that but my drs don't seem worried. I guess if my blood sugar gets high they will be. my brother is diabetic and couldn't take it because it made him sick.

I have found that I have ZERO appetite since I started on Ozempic. Presumably, if I stop taking it, my appetite will return & I’ll start eating like a savage again & the weight will pile back on. But - as long as it is being prescribed for me, I’ll keep injecting myself once a week.
