Rebel, sorry your daughter is literally in the line of fire. LA is a disaster. So many things went wrong with the water supply during one of the worst wind events in history.
I lived down there for over 45 years and my daughter and her family are in the Inland Empire - east of all of the destruction. I hope the next round of winds ease quickly and no new fires are started.

My mom and aunt both had noticeable hair loss. My aunt wore a wig for years. My mom just bleached her hair light blond to match her scalp and used a lot of hairspray to try to cover the bald spots with what hair she had left.
