they have 2 kitties, and a bunch of computer equipment that she uses for her own home based business, but I'm not sure that she can get all of that in the car in time if they have to leave. I've already been up for 48 hours now, and I'm exhausted, but I'm even more nervous and scared. they're only in their mid-late 20's. So young to have this happen. I'm just praying that everything works out and that the fire crews get some much needed help and relief.

speaking of weird dogs, i watched a video last night of a dog that went to a pumpkin patch and picked out a small pumpkin and then carried it around everywhere. the stem came off after a bit, so they put it in a basket for him. they would put it in the fridge at night and he would get it back each morning. when it was getting too rotten they replaced it with a plush one, but they also took seeds and started a pumpkin patch of their own so he'd be able to have more pumpkins.
