I occasionally do color depositing shampoo for fun colors, Eva. We didn't have fun dyes when I was a teenager. One of my former neighbors said he thought older women with crazy hair colors had mental issues and I told him maybe that was true. 🤣

Kap, I'm not going to hold my breath while the count is still coming in for a day or two, given how close the front runners are in polls. Locally we do mail-in ballots, and the latest report for our county shows about 80% have already been received, which is WOW. I hope that trend holds true for the rest of the country.

We have commercial-free tv, so I haven't seen a single broadcast ad for any candidate. That has helped my mental health, no doubt. I understand the clinical concerns for many patients right now. For me, it helps to remember that the U.S. President is pretty limited by checks and balances. Congress are the ones who have the real power. And as someone who focuses on healing and recovery, I remind myself: is my energy on the election healing and uplifting for me, or triggering?

Molly, I think there's a lack of understanding on a lot of fronts. It's a pity, but no clear way to solve for it. I'm just grateful we haven't had any major family disruption within my own circle. We did have a year or two of distancing among some parties, but it resolved with time and grace.
