I never thought I'd be working in something even related to health care. I have an English degree and still want to be a published author of fantasy fiction someday. But I'm glad I have this job; I've learned a lot and I know my work is making a positive difference in the care of others. -

And there is potential for new/different jobs for people than what they had before (again, using myself as an example). I'm about 20 min south of Hendersonville, about 45 south of Asheville proper. We got at least 28" of rain at my house in 3 days, probably more but I didn't get my gauge emptied when it filled up. We had very high winds and many downed trees and power lines. I, and many of my neighbors, think there was possibly a tornado since clusters of trees in a straightish path were twisted off in the middle.
