just found a basal metabolic rate calculator on-line. it says my daily caloric requirement is 2608 cals. my daily intake is between 1200- 1500. does that mean i should increase my daily caloric intake? in order to lose weight?

yep, I think that would be a good person to ask. It is hard to find the right balance. If you eat too much, you gain weight. If you eat too little, your body might go all hungerwinter on you and burn up as little as possible, and you won't lose weight.

and another nice thing. We have to put our car through a yearly checkup, which is always a bit scary because you do not know if it will come through, and if so, how much it will cost. We found a garage that will give you a specified pro forma bill with what is needed to get the car officially checked, and what it will cost. So no stress. And the amount did not disappoint us. We will be able to drive this oldie another year.

he is going to a workshop to learn how to build his own longbows. Ever since his knees killed his canoeing adventures, he has been focusing on this. Started shooting too at a local club. He is even trying to make his own arrows, which is a helluva job. But it keeps him occupied and amused so I am all for it.

I see the doc again Weds, hopefully he will run some new tests to see if I'm deficient in something. I think the FM just knocks me flat when stress is involved. Plus, we just went from temps over 100F to nice cool 60s and 70s. I'm loving the cooler temps though.
