we had year-round school when I was in K-4, three-quarters of students started on 5 July, the other quarter, which I was part of, started around the 24th of July, and when we switched to standard calendar, we went mid-August to very early June. I went to school in Prince William County, VA for K-8, and attended high school in Fairfax County Virginia.
