anika, have lost 95% of my discs in my spine, bone on bone mostly. compressed nerves make it almost impossible to walk any more than a few metres before pain becomes so bad that i have to sit down.

no spinal fusions can be done as it would be multiple levels and surgeon no sure he would be able to fix the problem. so pain doc is going to knock me out, then use radio-frequency kill the nerves one by one.

Wow. That sounds nasty. I hope I can find solutions for my problems. Have had injections into nerve ends which can give relief but my problems started with transverse myelytis which was a lesion on my spine that affected my left side from waist down.
