in the old chicken coop, which tertiare and I cleaned out, removed the nesting boxes, and fitted for them - hay crib, raised bed for sleeping, etc. An old dog run was re-fitted to the space, with a couple of sections added, to make an enclosed yard for them. Every day that isn't raining I take them out for goat zoomies and yard activities.

randolph, for those who are interested, is a town near me with the highest number of english language learners in the state. 40 different languages are represented in the school population. Last week they announced they are eliminating all arts, music, phys ed, cafeteria workers, and some other staff for next year. I think this is CRIMINAL. For ELL students, the arts, sports, music, etc. levels the playing field and gives them a place to shine. NO ONE cares if you can't fully speak English if you are dominant on the track team. Or a deft watercolorist. Or a coloratura soprano, or a gifted pianist. I'ts AWFUL

You need to empty the litterbox more often, Molly -- and that is just in the winter -- they go outside in the rest of the year, but they bury it! And there is no getting rid of that doggie smell ever - not unless you are prepared to give your dog a bath every day.
