We actually had some sunshine today! It was lovely -- once the really high haze burned off. But it's supposed to be cloudy for much of the rest of the week. I am tired of clouds... I want it to feel summery now that it's actually summer!

I have pretty bad D deficiency... have to take supplements, but it's better in the summer. Otherwise, we are finally home, dee -- and the unpacking is driving me crazy. I keep having to go out and buy shelving and things so I can put things away!

the really exciting news (I think) is that, for the first time in 16 years we have an abundance of tadpoles in the fish puddle!!! One of them is actually starting to turn green like its parents... and all of them now have both sets of legs! So excited. The native frogs are called "waq waq" in Lushootseed, and their singing is so pretty. In April and May they are glorious to listen to.
